Adult Care Skills Bootcamp – Ready2Care

This bootcamp is ideal for anyone looking to start a rewarding career in adult social care. It’s designed for individuals who are: Unemployed and looking to re-enter the workforce, Looking to change careers into the care sector, Returning to work after a break, Seeking a pathway into meaningful and sustainable employment in adult care. It’s especially relevant for those who want to work in roles such as care assistant, support worker, domiciliary carer, or healthcare assistant.

This Skills Bootcamp is 100% fully funded for eligible learners through the Greater London Authority (GLA). No cost to learners.

Are aged 19+ Live in London Have the right to work in the UK Are not currently in full-time education Are unemployed, self-employed, or earning below the London Living Wage Can commit to 5 weeks of part-time learning (12 hours per week) Have a genuine interest in working in adult social care

You’ll study through: 6 hours sessions, 2-3 days per week in-person at our Woolwich training centre. The course runs for 5 weeks and is delivered part-time to fit around your schedule.

You’ll be assessed through a mix of practical and written tasks: Role-plays and scenario-based learning, Written reflections and short assignments, Online quizzes, Mock interviews and employer feedback, Real-time tutor observations
