The Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work course is ideal for those working in high-risk environments such as construction, manufacturing, warehousing, or healthcare. It is deal for organisations whose needs assessment has identified a requirement for additional first aid training. This might be due to having employees with a disability or a medical condition.
The course is designed for people who might need to provide first aid by responding to a wide range of accidents, injuries, and illnesses that they could encounter in their workplace.
This extensive level 3 first aid course meets the requirements specified in the Health and Safety Regulations (First Aid) 1981 and goes a step beyond the Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course, qualifying you to work in high-risk workplaces.

Entry requirements
Minimum age for registration is 16. Learners must be able to communicate effectively in English (speaking, listening, reading and writing).

Assessment
The First Aid at work course is assessed using a combination of a practical assessment and a multiple-choice exam
You will qualify with
- Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work at Work Certificate. The certificate is valid for three years and must be renewed if you wish to continue to act as a first aider in the workplace.
